About Us - All about The Blackjack Factory

In 2004, The Blackjack Factory created this website primarily for targeting people who wish to increase their knowledge and understanding of Blackjack, Roulette and Craps. After a year of research and development, three video presentations were created. These thorough productions cover all aspects of each game.

As a player, you can learn the rules of the games, famous systems and techniques, and mathematical knowledge that will help you differentiate between good bets and bad.

As a dealer, you can learn the technical skills and numerical awareness that will ease you through a training school and into the gaming industry.

In addition to the video presentations, a series of free tutorials were created to educate and test the site's visitors.

Andrew Backhouse, the founder and president of the company, has been in the gaming industry for twenty one years. He trained in London in 1984 before moving to The Bahamas in 1988. In 1990 he returned to London for a couple of years before doing a couple of short stints in Turkey and South Africa. From there he moved to cruise ships where he worked for Norwegian Cruise Line, Starlight Cruises, Royal Cruise Line (Tiber Trading), Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity. In 1997 he became a casino manager for the Royal Caribbean/Celebrity ships and remained there until February, 2004 when he left to put The Blackjack Factory business plan into action.
